Local Support & Favourite Baby-Friendly Spots for Letchworth Mums

As a local parent and photographer living and working in Hertfordshire, I love supporting new mums through every step of early parenthood. Letchworth Garden City boasts a wonderful green layout, excellent local support networks, and charming family-friendly spots:

• North Herts Family Centre Services: Letchworth families benefit from local health visitor drop-ins, weigh-in clinics, breastfeeding support, and stay-and-play sessions hosted at local Family Centre hubs. Check out the Hertfordshire Family Centre Service: https://www.hertsfamilycentres.org.uk/

• Letchworth NCT & Parent Networks: Connect with fellow local mums through regular coffee mornings, pram walks, and social groups hosted by the North Herts NCT branch.

• Coffee & Cake Outings: After a relaxing newborn session, head into town for a treat at Cultivo Lounge, Khoi Khoi, or Standalong Bookshop & Cafe—all offer a welcoming atmosphere with excellent buggy accessibility.

• Pram Walks & Green Spaces: Enjoy quiet, stroller-friendly strolls around Broadway Gardens, take a peaceful walk through Norton Common, or explore the tree-lined paths along the Letchworth Greenway.
